As of today, we are officially in the winter semester. On this occasion, we would like to review the past summer semester and remember the great time we were able to spend together with you.
The semester started with a freshman week including a pub crawl.
In May, we continued with our booth at the bicycle action day. On this day we were able to distribute over 200 waffles to you for free. Those who wanted were allowed to put a donation in our donation box. These donations were to go to the sponsoring association of the spring water swimming pool in Ockstadt. We were able to hand them over during our two-day summer festival, which we again organized together with the Friedberg student councils.
On Wednesday morning, punctually at 9:00 a.m., a bar with beer dispenser, a small brewery from Ockstadt stood on the campus grounds. This was the starting signal for the construction. In addition to the regional beer, there were various other drinks and food from the grill, as well as crepes or smoothies. All this in summer temperatures.
In between these two events, however, there were other activities where we could have a lot of fun with you.
First, our absolute highlight of the semester. On the last weekend in May we could celebrate our Mid-Semester Party with over 100 visitors at Central, Friedberg’s oldest club.
During the disposition week in June, we were able to organize an excursion to Sinsheim to the technology museum and also in this week, the games weekend was scheduled. This was organized and hosted in cooperation with the MND student council.
From Friday to Sunday, students with an affinity for board games as well as video games met in the A8 building. As in LAN party times, people set up together in one room. In addition, there were rooms where people could play together on various multiplayer console games. There was also plenty of space for the card and board game faction. We would like to thank the Kreativhaus Friedberg, where we were able to borrow some games.
We were very happy to experience so many events with you this semester and hope to see you again at one or two events this semester.
Here already the announcement of our first two actions. On Friday, October 06, 2023 we will start the semester again with our pub crawl as part of the Ersti-Week and on November 03, 2023 our party will take place at Central.
