Dear students,
Do you want to actively help shape your campus and do something for sustainability at the same time? Then now is your chance!
On On June 12 and 13, we cordially invite you to be part of the unique “Create a Difference” project. This project was initiated by students for students and offers you the opportunity to improve our university environment in the long term. Together we want to create new, cozy common areas that invite you to linger and exchange ideas.
Great news: All the building materials for our campaign are already available! So you don’t have to develop anything, you can get started right away. Your creativity and energy are needed to transform the campus into a more pleasant place to study and relax. There will be a short briefing at the beginning to make it easier to get started – no special previous knowledge or particular manual skills are required. Every contribution counts and is very welcome!
What can you expect on these days?

• Building activities: Lend a hand and assemble the available materials into seating furniture to create the new outdoor recreation area at the A15.
• Exchange and networking: Meet like-minded people, share your ideas and be inspired.
• Fun and community: Experience two days full of teamwork and positive changes on campus. Of course, you can also join us for just one day or even spontaneously for an hour.
• Drinks and music: Food and drink will be provided to ensure that breaks and a good mood are not neglected.

Take part and be a part of this sustainable transformation! Your participation is not only an opportunity to express yourself creatively, but also a contribution to improving our university.

In case you are still missing background information: This is the implementation of the student competition that the Green Office announced in winter semester 2023/2024. And now it’s finally becoming a reality. Take another look at the “connAct” concept, because it is being built. The first seating furniture has already been built and can be used. But there are still a few more to go – in addition to creating a cozy outdoor area, the aim is to increase biodiversity through integrated raised beds.
