Edit 13.06.25:
🎫 Survey on the Deutschlandsemesterticket – your opinion counts! 🚆

The survey on the Germany semester ticket is now online – we would like to know from you, the students of THM:
➡️ Would you like to continue to have the Hesse-wide semester ticket in the future or would you prefer a Germany semester ticket?

👉 Participation is only possible via the THM network – either directly at the university or from home via VPN (instructions for VPN here).

💡 Why conduct a survey at all?

Since April 1, 2025, the previous RMV-NVV semester ticket can no longer be upgraded to the Deutschlandticket (D-Ticket) – RMV has permanently abolished this option.

The THM student parliament has therefore decided to stick with the current RMV-NVV semester ticket for the time being.
📌 Reasons for this included:
– the price increase of the D-Ticket to €58
– the uncertainty about the future of the D-Ticket
– the low usage of the upgrade by THM students
– the additional financial burden of a nationwide change

But this decision is not final!
We want to involve you more in future decisions – hence this survey. Only together can we find a solution that is socially acceptable and sensible for the majority of students.

As of 28.05.25:
Dear students,

Since April 1, 2025, it is no longer possible to upgrade the RMV-NVV semester ticket to the Deutschlandticket (D-Ticket). The Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (RMV) has permanently discontinued the corresponding upgrade option.

At its meeting, the THM student parliament decided to retain the current RMV-NVV semester ticket for the time being. This decision was based, among other things, on the price increase of the Deutschlandticket to 58 euros, the comparatively low use of the upgrade by THM students and the additional financial burden that a nationwide switch to the Deutschlandticket would mean for many students.

In order to better take your opinions and needs into account in future decisions, a survey on the topic of the Deutschlandsemesterticket will be conducted at the beginning of June. The link to the survey will be published here as soon as it is online.

A detailed article with further information on the current status of the ticket issue will also follow as part of the survey.

Important: The AStA has no access to personal data in connection with the Deutschlandticket – for example payment data, contract information or support requests. If you have any questions about existing tickets or technical problems, please contact RMV or the respective ticket service provider directly.

Thank you for your understanding.
