Digital Semester Pass
Hello dear students,
Why is the semester ticket being digitized?
It’s simple: The digital ticket is designed to make things much easier for you.
In the future, refunds can be processed digitally with less hassle, and there should also be fewer issues during inspections, since the system works similarly to the Deutschlandticket.
The digital RMV semester ticket must be downloaded by October 31, 2026, at the latest; it will still be possible to download it after that date, but the semester ticket on the THM student ID card will expire on November 1, 2026.

Instructions for Retrieving Your Ticket
1. Click the link above the text or scan the QR code with your smartphone.
2. You will be redirected to a login window, where you will enter your THM username and password. (Log in just like you do for Moodle)
3. Click on the current ticket that is displayed.
4. You can now access this ticket at any time via this website for verification purposes.
4.1. or Add the semester ticket to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. (Or any other wallet app of your choice.)
Don’t have a smartphone or don’t want to use one?
In this case, the RMV offers an emergency alternative. The semester ticket can be issued as an RMV chip card.
The ticket must be picked up in person when applying; it cannot be applied for on behalf of others, nor can it be mailed.
You’ll need the following documents for this ticket:
- Official photo ID
- Certificate of enrollment, including confirmation of eligibility for the semester ticket (issued within the last 2 weeks)
- Certificate stating that no refund has been requested to date, obtained from the AStA (not older than 2 weeks)

Data Submitted for the Digital Ticket
With the digital ticket, the following data is transmitted to the RMV via Shiobboleth, in consultation with the THM:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Date of Birth (required by the RMV for verification)
- pseudonymized student ID number
