The sudden closure of the student residence on Steinkaute is hitting many students hard and drastically exacerbating the already tight housing situation in Friedberg. To give those affected a voice and work together to find solutions, the STEM Master’s program team invites everyone to an open discussion.

The AStA supports this initiative and calls on all affected and committed students to get involved!

What’s it about?

The goal of the roundtable is to discuss the current difficulties, needs, and challenges faced by students. Building on this, concrete courses of action and support measures will be developed—including those aimed at international students who are new to our campus.

Who is invited?

• All affected residents of the Steinkaute dormitory who have received notice of termination.

• First-year students and students who are starting at THM this semester and are currently still urgently looking for housing.

• University members, committees, and initiatives active in the areas of student housing, social services, or international affairs.

• Anyone interested in advocating for affordable and safe housing for students.
